| Description |
Turn handle to raise mini-tweezers head off table. Winch winds spectra cable which feeds through pulley on ceiling and then pulls bungee cord upward to raise instrument. As possible alternate, search "halyard winch" for sailboats or flagpoles. The winch must raise a load of only 10 kg. A large fishing reel might also work here. Any such winch must have fine length control so that every click of the winch raises the instrument less than 1 additional inch. |
