position detector lower periscope

Description It is possible to make two periscopes out of one pellicle assembly, if you are careful.

(H) Glue the front surface to the metal parts
Use superglue

(I) Remove blue backing from front-surface mirrors

(J) Attach plastic lenses to sliders.
Convex lens side faces in, flat side out. Use very little super glue and avoid getting glue on lens face. Replace lens if that happens.

(J) Attach plastic lenses to sliders.

A) apply epoxy
about 2 uL of UV-set epoxy spread on flat bevel of pickoff tube

raise pickof tube until it stretches the film

5 minutes at high power in UV crosslinking chamber

outside of tube with scalpel blade

file away excess film and epoxy from edge of pickoff tube
